iPad Repair - Liquid Glass? (for donated iPads for bible students)

Recommended Posts

Hello!

A local brother has collected some iPads that friends have donated for bible students in our local Apache territory.  I have one that I'm helping to setup but the screen is cracked.  The cost to replace the screen is too high.  I saw information on the internet about a product called Liquid Glass and it's in stock locally.  I have no experience with this product.  Have any of you?  Is it a good product?  I don't want to pass along an iPad with a crack in it for fear pieces will chip off and it will become sharp to the touch.

I do not know the product but tablet screens are touch sensitive.  A carcked screen may not be sensitive anymore (or not sensitive on one side).

I have had several tablets (3 of them Ipads) with minor cracks on the screen that still worked.  I simply bought te glass screen protectors and they stuck right over the cracks and gave a nice smooth surface to touch.  I used the solid glass versions not the thin plastic screen covers.

Thank you!  Good point!
