A little Help

I have been trying to get Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on my IPad and run by Apple and I tried go along how getting it is failing. Is there a another easy way of getting it without problems?

What steps did you follow to install it? 

Are you getting any errors? 

How old is your iPad?

Opera..... Fire fox.... Safari....brave

 

Stopped using chrome..... Not sure if edge is any better

On my Ipad, I opened Safari, typed CHROME in the search box at the top and it took me to google.com and showed me the chrome page.  in the upper right corner it said "download chrome".  I clicked on that and it loaded the browser on my Ipad.

 

If you want to make it your default browser, go to settings, look down the list on the left side, go to "safari" and select that.  When it opens, the second line says "default browser app".  Choose this and you are given a choice between "safari" and "chrome".  Choose the one you want.

 

Exit the settings and reboot the Ipad.
