BEE 🐝 Sting Allergic

Recommended Posts

A dear ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️  elderly sister (80 years old) who lives alone and is also some 60 miles from the congregation got stung by a bee 🐝 late yesterday.

I heard over the scanner that this happened. She did all the right things, Epi pen, Benadryl, but was still having breathing problems.

As soon as I heard this, I txt the sister who had studied with her to keep her in the loop. (Having an elder husband helps too.)

After she was treated in the ER, because she was still itching they put her in the hospital overnight.

Very scary. She does try to be very careful about this.

please give our love to this Sister and let her know we hope she recovers soon, getting stung can be very scary, my Daughter when she was about 6years old if I can remember, that is the first thing that goes is your memory, she was playing outside by our swing set and a wasp cam after her because there was a nest in the swing set, she screamed and the wasp stung her in her mouth on her tongue and we scrambled to help her so I know the thought of being stung and how scary it can be, she was fine and we were able to calm her down, so please let our Sister know we all care very much for her, remember when one of our dear ones hurt we all hurt. we send our love to all.

Well, friends, our dear friend & sister, 80 year old, Marion got stung again today. Her township ambulance should b at the hospital by now.

Yep, heard it on the scanner again. It was 5 pm eastern when I heard the sheriff department here make the call.

This is after she drove herself to the Munising E R yesterday because she had a rash. I guess they explained it was from all the drugs she was given, (Epi pen, Benadryl and than what the hospital gave her.

Now the poor dear starts all over again.

When I was about 10, a bee remover came to remove a nest in our neighbors chimney, he explained to all of us young ones that were looking on that bees are friendly, they don't really want to sting you, so after seeing that he had several on his hand I let him put about 4 or 5 on my hand, they were crawling around "friendly" until one of them got between my inner finger and started to giggle, I panicked and swept them off only to get stung, my hand swelled up looking like a club, my mother took me to the doctors and got meds, lesson learned!
