Block or forward all incoming sms

Recommended Posts

That's gonna be dependent on your service provider.  Some, like Google Fi, let you pause your service with the click of a button.  On the other hand, if you paused your service, you may miss (and not be able to ever recover) any texts that are sent to you.

For forwarding, it's the same thing.  Depends on your provider.  I can log into my Google Fi account and forward to another number easily.  Forwarding might be your best bet.

But I'd have to ask, does this happen every time you get a text message?  It seems very unusual that a text message would cause you to lose internet connectivity...

Arumuga, you could set your phone to plane mode, then activate only mobile data (or wifi, whatever you use). While in plane mode you won't receive any calls or SMSs.

Don't forget to exit plane mode after the meeting! :)

But I see your phone has a "Do not disturb" mode. Please, try that one instead.

Tried but the internet connection is lost more than 5 seconds when received a SMS

See if this can help:

How do you turn off text messages on Android?

How to Disable SMS on Android

Tap the “Messaging” icon on the Android device.
Press or tap the “Menu” button. The Messaging Menu appears.
Press or tap the “Settings” option in the Messaging Menu.
    Uncheck the “Auto-Retrieve” option.
Uncheck the “Notifications” option. The default SMS application is now disabled on the Android phone. Warning.
