Godly devotion . . . holds promise of the life now and the life that is to come.—1 Tim. 4:8.

Parents, teach your children in word and action that you love Jehovah deeply. Realize that the greatest gift that you can give them is the opportunity to love Jehovah. And one of the most valuable lessons that you can teach them is how to keep a good spiritual routine of study, prayer, meetings, and participation in the ministry. (1 Tim. 6:6) Of course, you must give your children the material things they need. (1 Tim. 5:8) But remember that it will be your children’s close relationship with Jehovah, not their material possessions, that will help them to survive the end of this old system and make it into God’s new world. (Ezek. 7:19) How heartwarming it is to see so many Christian parents who are making good spiritual choices for their families! Children who are raised in such families often continue with the good habits they learned, and they have no regrets!—Prov. 10:22. w20.10 28-29 ¶10-11

Thanks Br. Carlos, it's been years since I was able to read the daily text without first highlighting the passage. How did you manage to do it?  I told Br. Bob (Dismal Bliss) about the issue and he said there could be nothing to be done about it. Tough l....for Dark Mode users. So I was pleasantly surprised you manage to circumvent the issue that has been a thorn in the flesh for me. 🙂 Perhaps you can enlighten the person who is in charge of daily text thread. It will be a godsent.

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

Because members want the ability to be able to copy and paste as rich text, meaning that the formatting of the source is preserved when pasted here. Many members compose their replies in a Word Processor such as Microsoft Word. If I changed the functionality from "Paste as rich text" to "Paste as plain text" then all the effor they put into formatting in their word processor program gets lost upon pasting.

The truth is, I regret ever making Dark Mode. Every time I have to hear about this issue, I get closer and closer to removing Dark Mode altogether.

Some who have been raised in the Truth end up wanting and striving for the life of the world. To avoid a bad conscience they try to convince others that they are agnostic. Neither believe in nor deny that God exist.  What are they really missing?  The opportunity to love Jehovah and feel Jehovah's love in their life.  Everything in their life is not real for the real life is having Jehovah and his son in your life with a clean conscience now and a hope for the future.
