Media Player unpauses when I step away

Recommended Posts

I have a new laptop computer with an IR camera that has an odd behavior.

When I am playing a media file in JWLibrary or with the windows Media Player (not Windows Media Player) When I pause the player and step away from laptop, about 10 seconds later it will start playing again. Then it stops as soon as I return and sit down in front of the laptop.

I cant find a setting to make it stop doing that..

edit : can't you desactivate the cam ?

The camera is very handy, it does facial recognition, and I don't need to use my password every time.

I don't understand why it would start playing after I pause it and step away. It seems that it would do the opposite.

EDIT: I just checked and it does do the opposite. I don't need to pause it, it pauses when I step away and it starts playing again when I sit down. Problem solved!

Drop Dead Fred

Spoiler

One night when she can’t sleep, Elizabeth happens upon the small box which housed her childhood imaginary friend, Drop Dead Fred, who used to cause all kinds of mischief. But, when Elizabeth opens the box causing Fred to reappear, she is drawn into a raucous series of new, highly destructive, and hilarious adventures

Although derided by critics upon its initial release, Ate de Jong’s DROP DEAD FRED has since become a cult favorite, earning a hardy reputation as one of the strangest and most unhinged ‘family’ films to ever emerge from a major studio.

Nice. Cult movie

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.
