I'm gonna root my Droid X2

So I got a replacement phone from Verizon and stuck it in a drawer because I purchased one off craiglist - a Droid X2. I hate this thing so much because of it's glitchy interface and serious lag.

For fun then, I am going to root it, and flash someone else's ROM and remove all the Motorola stuff. Sounds like fun!

Best thing I could have done for my phone. Now it is blazing fast, glitch free (so far) and the battery life is amazing!

I am running Eclipse 2.3 by a guy named Nitroglycerin33 instead of the Motorola Blur 2.3.4 the phone came with. Blur is such a fitting name for the junk stock software.

Nice! And yes, I am in love with my phone all over again. It almost ended up in the river

Eclipse has been awesome. I've heard that there is a better one called Cyanagen out there, and I had so much fun flashing the ROM that I just might try it again and seeing if it really is better or not.
