iSilo - Unable to purchase via Google Play Market

Recommended Posts

So I finally got my Transformer Prime and took it to the meeting today. So far, I am thinking I would prefer a paper magazine instead. Still carrying along a Bible and a Songbook I haven't "lightened my load" at all. Perhaps it would be different on the school during the week.

Anyhow, I am trying to purchase jailor and keep getting an error. So I tried via the web and get an error message that says the vendor/publisher is not able to provide anymore sales at this time. What's that all about?

Yeah, that would have been autocorrect on the new tablet. I've since shut it off and even switched to the keyboard that I use on my phone instead.

Bob, have you had any success since - with the App Store?

I have been able to purchase a few other things but have not attempted iSilo again yet. Actually someone sent me an apk for an older version that I am currently test driving and seems to work just fine.

Now I am trying to find an epub reader that I like. I may just stick with PDFs and use iSilo to look up scriptures. I am starting to get use to this. Thumb Keyboard rules!

"Mantano reader" will handle epubs and mobi files and handles PDF's better then Adobe. It reads many others too. It does highlighting well and even plays the "audio epub" files that are starting to come out.

For just a good epub reader, I like "FBReader".

My wife uses the paid Mantano Reader for epubs. I tried the free version, but thought attempting to highlight my answers in the Watchtower was buggy. I see the convenience of having the scriptures in a clickable link, but on the other hand, sometimes the Watchtower conductor pulls a fast one and asks you to read the verses before or after the cited ones. Mine would especially if he saw me using a tablet anyway :P

Adobe was real nice for underlining and highlighting PDF's and I hear ezPDF is fantastic. I am thinking I could have the songbook open in one program, the Watchtower in another, and then iSilo in a 3rd window for scriptures and be able to toggle back and forth rather easily and speedily.

Just a quick question - what time zone is used for the posts?

Whatever time zone you want... http://www.jwtalk.net/forum/read.php?19,9651

You can set your own time zone in your Control Panel -> Forum Settings and then all the posts will display a time and date stamp that is accurate according to where you live.

The time stamp above your head in your recent post above says 11:08pm for me. It may read something else for you. You can set your time zone in your Forum Settings. It is supposed to auto-detect your time zone but I don't think that works and it defaults to the time on the server which might be a Texas time since that is where it is located.

EDIT: The time stamp above my head in this post says 11:22pm

Thanks Bob, I selected my settings and was given the choice of GMT + 9 1/2 hours. We are actually on 81/2 hours at the moment, but when I checked to see if they had worked it had adjusted itself perfectly ok. Sooo much easier now!
