Everyday Annoyances of Living in this System…

Recommended Posts

Things that will NOT be part of the new system! Those little things that we have to tolerate on a daily basis.

I’ll start with a few of my pet peeves:

1) Listening to obnoxious Rap (pure profanity) music blaring out of cars – so loud it makes your house shake!

2) An ice cream truck is driving around (tonight) the neighborhood playing “Silent Night.” This upsets me on a number of levels. Does Christmas music really attract kids in late May?? Most importantly, false religion rears its ugly head in every facet of life – even selling ice cream - this is so sick!

3) I had a business trip in Las Vegas last month. I purposely stayed at the LVH (formally the Las Vegas Hilton) thinking it was off the "strip" and "friendlier." Yeah right - there were STRIPPERS (girls that looked to be about 14, although they must have been all of 18) dancing on tables in the LOBBY of the hotel. That's right. They were right there in your face - when you checked in, when you left, when you came down the elevator - and this is a conservative hotel!!

What drives you nuts? :poke:

Hi Lori,

I can't wait to see the back of greed, dishonesty and crimes against children. Well crimes against anyone but when I see children being mistreated it really makes me angry and sad. :nope:

Then the thing most closest to my heart is mental/neurological illness. My 9 year old son is Autistic and tends to suffer with anxiety that varies over different situations he may be faced with on a daily basis that you or I wouldn't even bat an eye lid at. He also struggles with movement and motor skills and has low muscle tone which means he cannot keep up with his peers and I can only take him out in service for an hour at a time before he starts to get tired, he struggles with simple tasks such as handwriting, dressing himself and bladder control, his speech also suffers and he needs different kinds of therapy. It will be wonderful to see my son a happy healthy child without any fears and able to function in a world without pain and suffering. I just want him to be ok and it's so hard in this old system, I can't wait to see the back of it:(

Hi Melanie,

I couldn't agree more on both counts - children being abused - unthinkable and, mental illness. My husband has been diagnosed with "Anti-Social Personality Disorder, Cluster B" - Psychopath - Sociopath. He's a hand-full!!! But, as bad as he is - I realize that he has a problem - a BIG problem that only Jehovah can fix.

I'll be praying for you Melanie. :praying:

Thanks Sis!

Philia,

Oh sis sounds like you have your hands full too, praying for you also! :encourage:

Jehovah has alot of work to do but we know he can and will do it!! >:D<

I just wanted to edit my post to say to you Lori that I agree wholeheartedly also with all the things you listed in your opening post! Particularly the music. People say it's ridiculous to assume that music and their lyrics can have any effect on our young ones but it most certainly does, it's filled with Satan's "spirit of the world" so it will be so refreshing to not have to listen to music like that ever again, it makes our kids angry and want to rebel, music is a very powerful influence.

Ya , when going to pick up kids from school. The area is such a nightmare and parents are so impatient.

They see you coming done a narrow rd and decide to squeeze past your car. narrowly missing you.

when you let the other driver pass they are pretty. rude.

I don't know what your drivers are like.

but many tailgate or leave enough room in case someone stops suddenly and other drivers see that as an invitation to jump in.

this rattles me bad driving. and I have 3 kids and that is my issue too. when on the Road.

another thing that rattles me, like my kids school starts 9:30 so I have to organize to meet the territory.

and sometimes like 8am I will text to see where the territory is and I don't mind not having a partner. then I don't hold anyone up.

like today I text to sisters one said she would meet me I was about to drop the kids at school. the brothers have now made field service

group 9:30 and we also have to look for a place to rent and well I thought should I go out or not and then I decided to . go then this sister

says no one has turned up to the group. so she wont worry, it takes effort for me to get myself Organized and out the door with three kids

takes effort for me to get dressed then people as you about to meet up they cancel.I find that rattles me alot. especially when they are pioneers

and you are told to support them. I would have done Rvs or NHS, but there's no encouragement to keep going. I so want to go back to pioneering

you make steps to do so. But you get knocked down again and again...or no one takes the iniative to ask you out. I provide transport there has been

many times when a sister says lets go for coffee. we get there and she says oh i forgot my purse. has happened many times. sorry for dribbling.

but this is like great therapy.

Melanie,

I know somewhat what you are going through with your son. I have a 14 yr old brother who is Autistic also with low muscle tone. He has had a lot of physical therapy as well as swimming to help. My grandma who is not in the truth is the primary caregiver for him. He is a little better now that he is slightly older, but at 9 he was still having bladder/bathroom issues. I have to give my grandma as well as anyone who has an Autistic family a lot of credit. It is so much work. I don't know if this would help but try looking up Celtic art therapy. It might help sometimes when he is more agressive or needs to settle down. Another thing to look into is if he has a gluten allergy. My grandma never has, but in reading avoiding gluten often helps behavioral issues

At some point when he was very angry or something he somehow managed to throw his excrement through a fan if you can believe that. My grandma has had a heck of a time with a lot of things as I am sure you have also. It will be nice to see how they are on the other side. I wonder sometimes if my brother will be there. He doesn't know the truth by any means but he does pray with my grandma whatever that means I suppose.

One of my annoyances is just the general anger that exists among so many. Of course they are 100 times worse at about 5-7 days before a new or full moon. Thats when I start yelling at people from my car. I figure if the moon can pull the tides of the earth which is 75 percent water it can mess with humans also which are 75 percent water. The oceans are a lot bigger than us, so who is to say the moon can't affect people also. Thats my theory anyway.

Lori,

That's pretty crazy that they are playing christmas songs this early. I would think that would only annoy people, not just witnesses but everyone. But then again I figure the way they advertise christmas, before we knew it, it would be in July. That would drive me nuts. The way I usually handle christmas songs is to make up another song to same tune that gets the one stuck in my head out. I don't remember the one right off that I come up with for Silent night, but the goofier and sillier you make it, the more likely you remember that one than the words to the actual christmas song. The worst and hardest one for me is little drummer boy. That gets so stuck in my head. The other ones I can despise more, because I was raised on both sides of the fence as it were and used to hate being in choir for church. and used to hate that the same 2 girls always got the main parts. I was young and figured maybe their parents bought them into the choir LOL. Then I got to the point where I just hated being there, but was under age to decide, so I used to do everything possible to get in trouble in choir class.

So I guess that would be another of my pet peeves as it were: Christmas and the songs that go with it

I agree to happily have Rap disposed of. Its violent and degrading in nature and yet people still listen to it. Not something I will miss

I'm sure there are other things that I'm forgettign but I will remember more later

I agree with all comments above. My pet annoyances are bad service from business.

Energy companies that send a big error in the bill . .but there is no phone number that answers to advise them that the error is THEIRS! :punk:

Call Centres !! . .yes . .I hear a chorus of agreement. They say they will get back to you . .never do :shrugs:

They say they are local . .they are in Philipines and 'Malcolm' is really named Sim Sala Bim. Why fake it???? :hammer:

Lies from politicians . . how do you know . .their lips are moving.

A politician who has been caught stealing $800,000 from low paid workers and then claims he was set up. NOT! :crackwhip:

I will be back in this thread for sure. (<img src=)'>

Orange parades.

Coming from Belfast we are now in the middle of them. We will get them now till September, and that brings out the local catholic youths

and then trouble comes soon after. Like in Ardoyne last year with the riots.

I was caught up in it with another brother and spent five terrifying hours in the back of a Police riot van.

sisters who dont give advice properly.

I needed to wash my hair the other day, and had no conditioner.

So this sister told me to use an egg, then rinse it out.

I thought fair enough, sounds plausible, so i went and did it.

But what she faild to tell me was To use cold water to rinse it. I used warm water and was picking scrambled egg out of my hair all day.

And was attacked by a couple of ferocious looking seagulls. :scared:

Hi Angela :) thanks for sharing your experience with your 14 year old brother. You are right, it can be alot of work and it can be a very hard life to live with someone who has Autism but at the same time they are very unique in their own ways and you just love them to pieces just the way they are! I just can't wait for all the bad aspects of the illness to be done away with. My son normally does go to swimming lessons but at the moment here in Australia we are getting into the cooler months so he will probably commence again this summer, I agree it does help with the low muscle tone, I also spoke to his pediatrician regarding the bed wetting and she said he would grow out of it so thank you for letting me know your brother got better with that as he got older it's certainly a relief to know it won't last forever! Your grandma sounds like she is a very self sacrificing lady and I take my hat off to her for looking after your brother. Jeremy, my son doesn't have a lot of behavioural issues where he gets overly aggressive or anything like that which I'm thankful for but he does suffer with anxieties so thank you for your suggestions. I have heard of going gluten free I will have to look into that a little more. As for wondering if your brother will ever be in the new system, Jehovah knows his heart and also understands he suffers with his condition but if you are ever up to it, why not teach him a little from the bible yourself? I'm sure he'd love to look through the pictures of the bible stories book or learn from the great teacher, Autistic children respond very well to visual aids and pictures rather than just words. I will say a prayer for your brother too and hope that he learns the truth in his own special way, Jehovah would love and appreciate any effort he made:squeeze:

Hey Ron,

Your hair/scrambled egg fiasco was very funny....laughing with you, not at you....of course.....dealing with our hair....male or female is a forever pain in the gluteus maximus it seems. I have confided in my close friends....that in the new system.....I shall pick for myself EVE's hair depicted in Garden of Eden drawings a.....thick, luxuriant and cascading mane......just a wish, we shall see.

As you said Ron...."Sometimes it's hard in this system.".....as time is passing by....the sometimes seems to be escalating towards consistently. Hang in there....it will be a bumpy ride!

Every time Me and my wife sit down to watch some tv in the evening.

We get bombarded with movie commercials for movies with spiritism (horror movies, twilight etc)

At every commercial break it's the same thing in our house, either it's me yelling to my wife..."TURN"

or it's her yelling "TURN" .We take turns changing the channel during these demonic movie commercials.

I bet there are many others on this forum yelling "TURN" at whoever is holding the remote in there house:D

There's hardly anything that isn't bad anymore. I subscribe to Netflix and they now have a genre called "Satanic Stories." It's hard to remember back just a few decades ago when most everything was ok. Your desision was whether to watch a comedy, a drama, a western... the content was hardly an issue.

I used to love to watch documentaries, especially the ones that centered on animals and different lands. Almost all of the time in the course of viewing, there would be references to "false gods" in whatever land they were talking about.

Never any reference to Jehovah - not once.

It's sad times that we live in. Just keep yelling "TURN!" brother.

Ron,

don't feel bad about egg in hair. I did that once since my dad told me it would be ok. Yep we were out of conditioner too. Again forgetting the cold part of the equasion, I also had scrambled eggs in my hair. I didn't have the seagulls attacking me though so you have me beat on that one. I'm sorry but I have to agree that is funny and scary both at the same time. Especially if you have ever seen the birds movie.

I second the out of area call centers that you absolutely cannot understand a word they say and they get all flabberghasted when you try to ask for a supervisor. "please sir/ maam I am just trying to help" yes i know that, but i cannot understand you. " oh but we are trying to do our jobs." One time was on the phone with local phone company for 2.5 hrs and their 6 weeks of training messed up my whole service and had to spend another 1.5 hrs with someone else to figure the whole thing could have been solved by unplugging modem and router plugging back in all problems solved

Comercials are the worst. they take up more time than the show.

My newest one to add to these things is a show my husband and I have been watching that I may or may not admit to, but its more addictive than sugar, salt and chocolate and worse than an any soap opera I have ever watched. Its so bad that they leave you hanging at the end of a rope on every single show and you have to see what happens on the next one. The worst part is there are creatures/things in this show that I would normally never watch, but I can't help it..... Jehovah help me turn off the show please

My everyday annoyances are:

1. Bad transportation system: I may wait for 40 min until the bus will come and then it is fully packed of people.

When it is hot about 40* C I can't even breathe because of bad smell. Oh, and I forced to listen to the horrible music that driver likes to listen to.

2. Noisy neighbors that start smoking and speaking loudly at 6:00 a.m. while they are warming engines of their cars for 5-10 min one after another and it is about 1,5 hour of horrible noise and smell right under my windows.

3. The summer city full of irritated half-naked sweaty people, crowded beaches and parks....X(:help:

On a serious note.

I hate dealing with bureaucracy.

They only way you can deal with these people is to lie.

It is easy to lie, and worry about it later.

if you are honest the system cant cope and you end up no where.

Only people who are lying and cheating seam to get on in this world.

Agreed.

I get annoyed by web pages that ask for details to be filled in and then don't let you tell the truth. They display data boxes with multi-choice answers that NEVER have the box you need to be honest.

Not for much longer hey. ;)

Oh boy where do you start lol!!

Music - i cant listen to the radio these days without having to constantly change the station till i give up, honestly the filth thats sung about and promoted as good and normal makes me feel sick.

Movies / TV - the selection is getting thinner and thinner. Everything seems to promote spiritism, sex etc.

Child abuse and animal cruelty, breaks my heart

Morals - there are none.

Manners - see above

im well and truly over hearing and seeing Jehovahs and Jesus' name and his word dragged through the mud, even by my own family members.

:(

Oh and Ron, apparently egg is good for your hair!! Just cant have the water too warm when u rinse it otherwise you'll be serving up breakfast Lol :D
