    UN’s most emphasized catchphrase? is peace and security, one that is distinct in their website. But maybe the Bible just focuses on the fact that while UN seems to be actively working, that is when GT will happen, not just a one-time global proclamation but a series of decades-lasting peace and security activities.

    I’m thrilled to be able to wake up one day and find myself living in NW, single… Endless potential and possibilities when it comes to a mate. It’s so much better than marrying now that if you ask anyone if they’ll marry if GT happens 3-5 years later for sure, most people will postpone marrying.

    Does it ever occur to you that the end might not come in another 10,20 or even 30 years? Since it is not in our jurisdiction, we never know. Actually we’re crossing the line if we try to figure out the exact time. Even if it takes 30 years, it’ll feel like a moment and we’ll (or sorry, I’ll, at least) regret not doing more for Jehovah and people.

    How is stocks+crypto investment viewed in general among JWs? I’m not trading in crypto, rather investing in it. But something tells me I shouldn’t openly discuss it with JWs, or they’ll think I’m being materialistic and greedy. I remember once reading an WT article describing investing in stocks in a negative light. I think it comes down to how you do your investing.. If one does it with a get rich quick plan, it crosses the line and becomes bad.

    Yeah I’d be glad to realize in hindsight after all it was good I didn’t try so hard to lose weight.

    I’m feeling maybe it’s this year or next year-ish or it’s another decade later when it comes to GT happening.. If it happens, it’ll happen pretty soon

    Is it far-fetched to think that the end is really close now that reporting of time is gone? I feel it’s like hearing Jehovah saying the job is almost done! Anyone can guess the preaching work would naturally slow down a bit if reporting is gone. We must be really close towards the end.

    Never been inspired? Perhaps. By the way when I read the insight books, one of my favorites, I get the impression God’s spirit did something, or they are the works of geniuses. At least their zeal and efforts were blessed by Jehovah.
