Possible East Coast SNOW Storm

Attention all who live on the North and Mid-East Coast...four letter word may be coming our way!

 

East Coast set to receive its first snow this week: Forecasters say cold blast of Arctic air could bring season's first snow dump next week

• Cold blast of Arctic air next week could bring the East Coast's first snowstorm
• Forecasters say three scenarios are possible depending on temperature swings: rain, snow or dry, cold conditions

(AM SO EXCITED!  IT HASN'T SNOW HERE IN MY STATE SINCE THE BLIZZARD OF 2010, 5 feet of SNOW).

What state is yours?

Maryland.  I heard it might snow in the Western part of the State.  I want it to SNOW on my side of the State!   I haven't seen snow since 2010.  People don't realize that snow is good for the ground, kills off all those pesky bacteria germs, and insects that breed worst then rabbits, and helps clean the air we breath.  And too, it helps keep crime down, cause the drug dealers don't like to stand out side their streets and freeze!  Most of them when winter comes, go down to sunny Florida!   I hope we have a semi noreaster!   If I lose power, am going to heat my house with those tea candles and the 2 flower pots!   Cook out on my porch with a small grill, in case we can't get out.  I'll be cooking not my mother!

I am on my way to OKC now--cold front moving in at 5 and suppose to have drizzle and poss light mix--roads icey in am so will drive down and get a room for class tomorrow. School from 8am till 830 PM tomorrow. Don't want to risk missing class and having to travel on ice at 4:30 am tomorrow. Seems funny all this preparation when it is suppose to be dummy and 68 in a little while.

LOL!  Hope you get there okay and when you leave the class at night, be a little more cautious and get back to the hotel in one piece.  Its starting to rain here (in Western Maryland) now, and it will turn into snow.  My chance of seeing a SNOW flake is a like a snow ball in "hell" (the ground is hot, nothing will stick).   I miss the winters that use to come on the East Coast.  I miss those 4 or 5 footers!  Snow tunnels, sledding, walking on a trail in the woods!  Things I will have to wait for.

I just looked at a weather map of East coast, wow, you're in for it, from North down to Florida. All lit up in 'green' for snow.  

I hate driving in ice and am so happy we still have warm weather. Weird for us, we're usually at 45 or below but it's about 58F
