I've only owned cockatiels once a long time ago, and I didn't have them that long so I don't have experience with birds. My neighbor has some type of small birds in a cage and she puts them on her porch every day and takes them back in at night. We have been having 96 degree weather here lately with a heat index of 101. I was just wondering if it's safe for the birds to be outside all day in this kind of heat?

hi Faith

Animal Control may be of some help.

they have been of assistance when I have seen an injured or loose animal and

called their local office about what to do.

even helped instruct me how to trap and relocate an armadillo that was making me crazy.
