Who is the Cliff Clavin on this board?

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the old sit-com Cheers but Cliff Clavin was always a favorite character of mine. I like that no matter what anyone said he always had a reply. He could recall any piece of information he had ever heard and try to make it fit the situation. One time we were all playing a game where you had to bluff the answer if you did not know it then who ever called you on it had to have the correct answer. It did not matter if they knew your answer was totally made up--they could not call your bluff unless they had the right answer. It was a hysterical game to play with a large group of people. Well anyway, I gave a answer that everyone knew was full of malarky and my husband said "Quit talking out your Clavin" Everyone became hysterical and now when someone says something stupid someone says "Quit talking out your Clavin"....well maybe you had to have been there...

Well, I do tend to know alot of stuff that often seems like useless information, but yet sooner or later it will come up in conversation some where with some one, lol.

I'm also good at Trivial Pursuit.

I wish I were good at Trivial Pursuit--I can not remember anything. My husband once answered something about the Beatles --what shirt was one of them wearing on a certain album cover---and he knew it without hesitating. Who remembers things like that? I guess alot of people. Would you let me be on your team? Rick always picks me last...

Lol, that sounds like something I would remember. What's crazy is I can't remember what I am suppose to do tomorrow, but yet I remember all this weird stuff, lol.
