A tip that may work for you if struggling to get Win 10 working after failed uograde.

 

Ever since the free upgrade to Windows 10 started I have had clients complain that the upgrade didn't wok ir stopped uodating after Vs 1803. Often I have found that you get no real information on the failure 

 

On nearly all of the ones I have had to assist with, the culprit has been the video /graphics card not being compatible with the Win 10 MS drivers. Often to you find that the manufacturer has stopped compatibilty with Win 7 OS and with no more development planned. No prizes for guessing the reason! 

 

Fixing it? If your Pc has a slot to change or add in a newer graphics card AND  comes with Win 10 drivers, you may find you can get past this issue. 

 

I even got an old Windows XP (then running Win 7) system working with Win 10 by fitting an entry level PCI card for just £30.
