Our God Our Father Our Friend.

OUR GOD OUR FATHER OUR FRIEND.

 

How myriads of angels applauded when they saw the creation abound and you, o covering cherub, you who were perfectly sound.   Assigned to the place He called Eden, where the first human pair roamed about, but your beauty corrupted your wisdom and your heart became haughty no doubt.   You deceived Eve the one He called woman, in the guise of a serpent you lied, then you turned on her partner called Adam and on that sad day they both died.   You all failed to see that Jehovah was the one that you all would offend. You turned down the love that he offered; your God, your father, your friend.   Still, many, despite imperfection, chose to seek out a life called The Way. Where they chose to look to Jehovah and follow his guidance each day.   They were happy to give him their worship, as it gave them direction in life and Noah and all of his fam’ly Jah saved from a world full with strife.   Too Abraham took all his fam’ly from Ur to a different land, where his offspring became a great Nation and Israel let Jah guide their hand.   Men like Joseph and Moses and David showed faith so as not to offend the love that was kindly extended by their God, their father, their friend.   Then his son, his only begotten, came to Earth at his Father’s request to give his life as a ransom and prove Satan a Liar at best.   The Apostles continued the message and many would follow The Way. While The Slave Class faithfully followed, yes, right down to this very day.   So many now stream to God’s mountain and anxiously wait for His queue, when He tells The King use my Kingdom to make things on Earth all a new.   Then The Lamb and His Bride and all mankind along with God’s angels extend a cry, “Give glory to God in the Highest!” our God, our Father, our Friend.
