An elderly sister had just returned home from the Weekly Meeting when she was startled by an intruder. Catching him in the act robbing her home all she could think about was the scripture she commented on at the meeting.

She just yelled out, "Stop..Acts 2:38!" ("Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven)."

The burglar stopped dead in his tracks - frozen.

Our sister calmly called the police and explained what she had done. As the police cuffed the man still standing motionless the officer asked, "Why did you just stand there as she quoted you a scripture?"

The burglar then responded somewhat confused and said, "I thought she said, STOP I have an Ax and two 38's."

Pass this on to someone who could use a good LAUGH. Remember, preparing well for the meeting is lifesaving.
