Good Riddance 2009!

Recommended Posts

I pray for the latter! As we know with economic improvement comes some feeling complacent and we have no time for that! Anyway 2010 began wonderfully. I arose bright and early 4:30 am! After the morning ritual and getting my cup of joe and bowl of oatmeal I began my new study routine for an hour. Then I wrote some letters for two hours and now I am off to prepare my second cup of joe so that I can stay awake to meet the group for service at 10:00 am.

Oh how pleasant the sleep of the weary one will be! :o

True! Interestingly.... Years of plenty brought 0% increase in our numbers those years. The same numbers coming in were also going out. Then the last 2 years hit, and boom, 4% increase in the United States. Now while all the credit goes to Jehovah and the efforts of his faithful slave class to push us to offer Bible studies, I do believe that there are many who are more receptive to listening when the financial floor falls out from underneath them.

Nice! I'm sipping coffee myself. But I have to go form a shower pan for a handicap accessible tile shower today. Will be offering Bible studies tomorrow though :)

Although it will be 15 degrees and a blizzard.

I saw a handicapped shower built on the DIY channel... it was great! He put in a special plastic tubing so the lady could roll her wheel chair right into the shower, help herself off and onto a bench and roll the wheelchair back out. I thought it was fascinating the new inventions for the disabled!

Although it will be 15 degrees and a blizzard.

And I was going to stay in because of a little dusting...lol Well I am off... will check back later.

Happy instillation!

G'day Kim and Robert, another thought on this, things steadily getting worse may also signal the beginning of the end for this system too - after all there is the great tribulation that Jesus warned us about that comes just before he brings judgement on this system of things.

I was kinda alluding to that when I said maybe Jesus will come and wipe it all away. But yes, it will be called a tribulation for a reason. Things will be bad on the world scene, and this no doubt has to include economically, politically, etc.

On a side note, I know brothers who are terrified of the tribulation, although we have had talks to reassure us that the tribulation is on this world, not on Jehovah's people. We should trust in Jehovah to protect his people.

I don't blame them for being terrified, the Scriptures say it will be so bad no flesh would survive, but because of the holy ones it will be cut short and those who follow Jehovah will be taken through by Jesus and Jehovah. Just as long as their fear doesn't cause them to do something stupid.
