Pay constant attention to . . . your teaching.—1 Tim. 4:16.

Since teaching is linked to disciple-making, we want our teaching to be the best. We are regularly teaching millions of people the truths found in the Bible. We love what we teach from God’s Word. So we may be tempted to talk at length about what we love. However, whether conducting the WatchtowerStudy, the Congregation Bible Study, or a home Bible study, the conductor should not do too much talking. In order to let the Bible do the teaching, the teacher has to exercise self-control and not try to explain everything he knows about a certain Bible passage or subject. (John 16:12) Compare the Bible knowledge that you had at the time of your baptism with what you have now. Likely back then, you understood just the primary doctrines. (Heb. 6:1) It has taken you years to learn what you know today, so do not try to teach a new student everything all at once. w20.10 14-15 ¶2-4

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

Speak With Simplicity: The Sermon on the Mount contains some of the most profound truths ever spoken by man, all expressed with simplicity. (Matt., chaps. 5-7).
Gauge the Amount: Jesus took into consideration his audience in determining how much information to convey to them at one time. (John 16:12).
Focus on Main Points: Jesus did not clutter what he was teaching by including too many details. (John 5:28, 29). km 5/09 p1.

The Bible is what very few want to hear but it's the message that everyone is looking for (Prov. 1:20-23 & 3:5,6).
