How can we know the person of Jesus?

If Jesus said: "I cannot do a single thing of my own accord" (Jn 5:30).

-"For I did not come down from heaven to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me" (Jn 6:38).

-"I do exactly what the Father has commanded me" (Jn 14:31).

-"I do nothing on my own" (Jn 8:28).

-"What I teach is not mine, but his who sent me" (Jn 7:16).

-"For I have not spoken on my own authority, but it is the Father, who sent me, who has commanded me what I should say and what I should speak" (Jn 12:49).

So when one listens to Jesus, and thinks about his way of acting, one does not know his personality, but rather knows his Father Jehovah. So how can we know Jesus?

 

Well, we can do it through the narrative of his life. We need time, ... because in the Bible we find many passages that help us to understand on a personal level, what kind of person Jesus is and what qualities he has ...
