What does this Bible name mean?

I’ll explain as simply as I can:

 

1) 1st poster has to choose a letter, but do not choose a name.

 

2)2nd poster identifies a Bible character, tells us what that name means, and what scripture they found it at

 

3) 2nd poster must pick a letter, and it will start again.

 

So the riddle is that the 2nd poster gets the ball rolling for the next guy.
