New Tracts - when will they arrive

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

We did have some of the "old" tracts on order.  It seems the order for these has been cancelled.  And they no longer appear on JW Hub for ordering.  So once stocks are gone, they gone!

Also told that any requests for the new tracts won't be shipped until the autumn when stocks will became available.  So use your supplies wisely.

As soon as they where released we printed them out neatly at actual size, rounded the corners, and posted them up on the literature's display board .... along with the Love People Make Disciples brochure(s) with the three pages from Appendix A - Truths We Love to Teach - on display ..... and with an arrow from each tract to the relevant 'truth', so publishers could see how they where linked, and how they will be able to use both tools together to both continue and have productive conversations using the new tracts, rather than simply handing them out to any and everybody they meet.

That's cool. Do you have a digital copy of that document to share?

Also, what strategies do you all use to count these tracts?

Firstly remember around 97% of JWs where NOT able to watch the annual meeting on 4/5 October 2026. And the announcement made to congregations in the week afterwards was extremely light on information, it simply said:

Nine New Tracts: At the annual meeting on October 4, 2025, nine new tracts were released. These tracts will be available in digital format as soon as they are released on jw.org in your language. Printed copies of each new tract will be distributed progressively to congregations worldwide over the next year or so.

NOTE absolutely NO mention of Appendix A in the Love People, Make Disciples brochure. Nobody knew the connection. Even for those who had had the privilege to actually watch the annual meeting that connection was often somewhat overshadowed by the experience / account of finding printing machines at an exhibition in Germany.... and it was that experience that IMHO seemed to became the main talking point.... well that, and the need for new printing machines because of the .... rounded corners !!

But because of following the 2025 annual meeting thread on this website, I did know the connection!....

Getting ready for the midweek meeting announcement, we printed out actual size colour copies of both the front cover of the new book, and both sides of each new tract, so they could be pinned onto the KH notice board for everyone to see them.

Yes, after all the talk of 'rounded corners', we where obviously expecting 'round' corners 🤣

For the new tracts, we pinned the mounted copies on the notice board SURROUNDING an open copy of the Love People brochure open to Appendix A, also pinned to notice board, with arrows pointing from each tract to the Truth We Love to Teach.....

Thus our notice board looked something like this:

Due to the lack of information in the announcement .... it was fascinating to see the revelatory lightbulb moment that many publishers had when they realised: 'Oh! Nine tracts because......' Yes, they physically saw the connection in front of their eyes. They also saw how big, or actually how compact, the new tracts where too :)

This seemed to be the most obvious thing to do 🤷‍♂️

To much surprise, just six weeks after the annual meeting - on 19 November 2025 - our congregation received a consignment of ALL nine tracts.

Now that we had the actual physical tracts we could - at last - replace our home-printed versions! We laminated each tract, mounted them onto black card, labelled each one with 'The Truth', and again pinned them up on the notice board surrounding Appendix A of the Love People brochure. But this time because we labelled them, and only did the front, we went 'minimal' with out using arrows, which IMHO looks cleaner and neater.

We received an equal amount of each tract, equivalent to around 12 of each tract for each publisher/pioneer.

The directions given where: "ensure that the tracts are evenly distributed so that each publisher receives a supply."

We made up packs of five-of-each tract, so 45 tracts in total (5 x 9 = 45) which we gave out from that weekend onwards to every single publisher on our congregation list, and pioneers got TWO packs each :)

Doing packs of 45 tracts' meant they where more robust as publishers took them. For those not in-person we upcycled the old cellophane trolley covers we used for the old pocket books, and the tracts fitted well in them and kept them in good condition.

Everybody was really pleased to get them, and 45 too! Actually some where a bit hesitant to be given so many, but we just said everybody was getting the same, and they could share them with other publishers if they wanted, so they where happy. Anyway, a very positive response from the congregation.

Remember this all happened - they all got physical copies of the tracts to use in the ministry - around SIX WEEKS BEFORE they could actually watch the annual meeting, which was only released on Monday 5 January, BUT they saw from our KH notice board how the tracts related to the Love People brochure (and we had a run of publishers and pioneers wanting a physical copy of the brochure, because of the connection!)

So, with five of each tract given out to each publisher and 10 of each to pioneers, we where left with around half of the tracts still in stock :)

We made nine little open top cardboard boxes which could contain each tract, and put them out on the literature desk, each with a limited number of tracts in each - and a note to state 'limited quantity, please only take what you need for this week and, if needed, collect more next week'. The boxes where regularly refilled as needed each congregation/ministry meeting.

so the mini tracts have arrived and put on the display unit

I do like the sort of display stand that @MJ1 is using. I don't think we'd want to put so many of each tract out at once, at least not at the moment, when they are still brand 'new'. How have you got on with this display stand? How have the tracts managed with being held vertical, especially when some are taken, and there are fewer to stand-up together?

Obviously we are now running out of each of the tracts, while we await our order/s to arrive from Bethel. In terms of how many to re-order, we looked at how popular each tract was in terms of how many where left after the first one went 'out-of-stock':

The God's Kingdom tract was the first to go (ie 100% popular), followed by Suffering (82% popular), then Jesus (71% popular), etc, etc....

I think ordering is in quantities of 400, so we simply ordered more of the top tracts than the bottom tracts 🤷‍♂️

Digital kitchen scales.

For the '5-of-each' packs above, we physically counted out 5s, using a lot of table/counter top space to collate the packs. It was a 'one-time-job' so wasn't really that a big deal.

For the rest, we counted out 50, weighed them (44 or 45 grams), then just weighed the rest out. They are packed in 400s, so that's 8 x 50.

Similar to the '5-of-each' packs, we wrapped and labelled each set of 50, both to keep them in good condition, and to help with inventory and stock control :)
