I have been trying to create a backup on my Samsung tablet so I can upload/update to my phone but it takes forever and the file is huge - like 9 gb. Note - if I backup my phone it's 135 mb. Why such a huge discrepancy? Both devices are Samsung and what is currently on my phone is from a tablet backup from 6 months ago. Can anyone help?

Hi @a2zkiddos, that sounds frustrating. Can you provide more details?
What Android version is your tablet? Is the JW Library up-to-date?
Do you have any playlists in the JW Library on the tablet? How many? What kinds? Are those already backed up - ie., do you have the same playlists on the phone already? If so, have you tried deleting all your playlists and trying the backup then? Just export your playlists on the phone first, so you don't lose them ;-)

What is of most importance for you to back up? Some notes and/or highlighting? Or is getting it back to working order more important?
