Hello again friends,

 

My name is David Michael Selent, and I’ve been one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for most of my life. I was baptized on October 20, 1989, and I currently attend the Jensen Beach Congregation in Florida.

 

I’ve been married for 10 years to my beautiful wife, Gwen, and she’s been serving as a regular pioneer for the past 10 years. We’re both so grateful to be in the truth together, and we truly love Jehovah and the worldwide brotherhood.

 

Besides serving Jehovah, one of my biggest passions has always been music. Over time, I started writing and performing my own original songs, and eventually I formed a group called the DMS BAND—“Great Sound. Better Message.” It’s made up of close friends and fellow believers who all share the same love for Jehovah and for music.

 

What makes the group special is that we all bring something different—different talents, different voices, and different instruments. But what unites us is our desire to create music that is clean, wholesome, and spiritually upbuilding.

 

We write music in a wide variety of styles—Rock, Country, Blues, Jazz, Pop, Reggae, Easy Listening—because I wanted there to be something that could reach everyone. The idea really came from noticing how so much music today has great sound, but the lyrics can be negative or even harmful. I wanted to create something different—music that still sounds modern and enjoyable, but with positive, encouraging, and faith-based messages.

 

While our music is primarily created with Jehovah’s Witnesses in mind, it’s really for anyone who wants a break from the world’s music and would rather listen to something that builds them up instead of tearing them down.

 

Another thing that’s very important to us is giving back. With every song download, half of the profits go to support the worldwide work, which means anyone who supports the music is also helping in that way.

 

We were also able to donate one of our original songs to the branch for possible use in an original song and video, which was a real privilege for us.

 

At the end of the day, our main goal is simple—to serve Jehovah, share His Kingdom message, and do whatever we can to help others come to know the truth.

 

We truly hope that if you hear our music, it encourages you and brings you joy. And if you enjoy it, feel free to share it with others.
