We are now being told by both our organisation and our governments to store food etc for 3 days plus, depending where we are living

I know that many Americans have huge houses often with cellars and can easily store things… but most of us in other countries either have small apartments or houses, so space is limited

I’m thinking of storing things under the bed etc… I don’t have lots of food here but I’m trying to buy extras as I can

So where are you storing food?

i need to keep things away from mice and because the house is very damp all dry goods will need to be in a sealed container

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

We have canned food and other necessities in plastic containers but I also purchased marine emergency rations that are very small and have a long shelf life. We have some in the to-go bags and in the vehicles just in case.

We also have canned foods and packaged dry foods , all stored in plastic containers in our garage (no room for a car). We hope to be able to store enough for 3 or so days, and hold quantity for at least another 2 - 3 people. In our road and the adjoining one, there are 24 brothers, including 5 under 10. If we all did the same in terms of storage, we could also help our neighbours, who are not as likely to be so  well prepared.

Trusting in Jehovah is not a giant leap, just a moving forward step by step (Proverbs 3:5-7)

I live in senior apt complex. Ground  floor living. Very small 550 sq ft. No garage. There are 9 witnesses here and several more on the waiting list. The manager is also a witness but I would not have known it without her telling me. Very aloof, not warm friendly like I am use to. I have way to much stuff for the space I have. But I have bought a rocket stove that would cook off liquid sterno. I bought a bed tent so when I loose electric for heat my Poppy and Maggie Mae and I can stay cozy and warm. I have two Tupperware type totes that I have dry food in. They are large like 2.5 ft long by 2 ft tall approx. I hate what little space I have no longer feels homey and pretty but looks like a old lady hoarder. I have gone to all the friends and told them where I live so we all know where to go, who to trust. I know my neighbors. Alma who lives directly behind me is a character. She looks like granny Clampett but smokes weed like Willie and Snoop. I do believe she could smoke them under the table. I thought weed makes you hungry but it looks like she does not eat at all. Yes Granny Clampett described her size, stature and shuffling gait. Instead of a shotgun she totes bear spray holstered on her hip and a life alert hanging from her neck. In just under one year that I have been here she has been to the hospital 3 times. She asked me if I ever 'got a good look at our fire men (department)? I said no I am sure they look good. 🤪 It never hurts to have an attractive face to look at as all muscle and brawn lift you to what might be your final destination. Our maintenance man cautioned me to avoid her baked goods because she gave him a gummy candy that put him in the dirt. I do believe the GT will be very interesting in my neck of the woods. I also bought heavy contractors bags to put in bathtub and hopefully can have enough notice to fill them up with water and they are used as a bladder to hold a 55 gal bag of water. Life straws and a solar batter. I've thought about small freezer but just no space. I must rely on Jehovah for the rest. I pray for all our friends everywhere that we stick tight like Velcro.
