How to keep an avocado from browning after cutting

I don't know if this is common knowledge but I stumbled across this by accident. If you wrap a towel around the avocado then place the avocado in a grocery bag (the kind you use for fruits and vetables), twist and then tie the end into a bow the avocado will remain green for a long time.

squeezing a little lemon or lime juice on it and wraping it tightly in plastic wrap works well too.
