My hubby and I are going to be in the Philippines in January.

Can I ask if any of you live in the Philippines?

We are going for a wedding and hoping to visit Bethel.

On the web version of JWTalk, you can look at the user map and see which users have marked themselves as being in the Phillipines and then you can send them a PM...

I had plans that if I go back to the Philippines, I will go the the northern part of the country. Banaue Rice Terraces is one of the UN Heritage site. Brothers from there said it is one of those friendly places. Ministry is great they said and field is very accommodating and responsive.

Palawan is the best place for diving and cheap but first class pearls.

Camaranes is where the Survivor takes place.

Cebu is a city popular of those dried mangoes.

Try checking the online deals for airline tickets, you can explore the country for a cheapest airfare.

If you're heading to Bethel, don't forget to visit SM City North EDSA (they are located in the same city as Bethel) it is the third largest shopping mall in the world and the biggest in SE Asia. It will take you maybe 5 to 7 minutes to get in there.

Philippines' Branch I heard that they have "bad" neighbors, there's a big church on the adjacent property. WBTS want to purchase the property but the owner doesn't want to concede because of the obvious reason.

I have a wonderful time when I am there ! I know you will too!

Please keep us informed how your trip went and if you have the time you really should visit Baguio city (summer capital of the philippines ) just dress for cooler weather i.e take a sweater or jacket.

I know there is atleast one english speaking congregation in Baguio

I live in Rizal and Looc, Cardona is just a few minutes away from us as I live in Morong Rizal. It's less than an hour to reach that place. Whom you want to visit there?

I have known some brothers and sisters living in Looc, Cardona.

Hope to see you soon there.. Brothers and sisters on Looc Congregation are very friendly and heart warming people except only for temperature condition we have here.. not too friendly... It's Soooo hot here..:sunshine:

And also, there is also English Congregation somewhere here in Antipolo City.. you may reach that place in just an hour (or less without traffic).

Hi Kerri....i live in Metro-Manila...an hour away from Bethel..if you're going to visit the branch office i can meet you there..that will be great!:hugs:

Thank you everyone for your replies, especially those of you who live in the Philippines.

We are staying at Thunderbirds Resort, Rizal & we are going to be with the family who's daughter/sister is getting married. We will be well cared for.

Drew, Dee, Jenny & Sam we may all meet sometime during my stay, only 8wks. to go (<img src=)'>
