The difference between fun and joy

I have been thinking about the difference between fun and joy. I know I can feel joy having fun but I was wondering what others thoughts were on the subject. I know joy is a fruitage of Jehovah's spirit. I had a bizarre controlling childhood. My father kept my toys in his closet. I couild never skip about like a child. I am at a point in my life where I am trying to have some fun. I have gotten coloring books and crayons and colored pencils and sketch book. I have these voices (self talk) that say "ok that is enough fun for you".. Anyone else struggle with having fun and feeling joy?

Well im not sure if this is fun or joy...I love seeing my children laugh and enjoy themselves so i

think this is joy.....Having fun....i find harder too do...i love to sew and have quiet time which is nice

Having a joke with my husband and laughing to me can be fun... I suppose i find it harder to find
