My day in Service

Some time ago, I was out in service with a group. I decided to continue on my own after everyone else went home, so I was given some territory.

I got to the territory and started knocking on the doors. 1st door: no one home. 2nd door: Not interested. 3rd door: Someone was home, but not coming to the door. So I knocked a 2nd time. I heard a rustle inside, but no one came to the door. So I shouted to the person inside, "Hey, I know you are in there. I want you to do me a favor. Please read Revelation 3:20", which reads as follows: "Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into his {house} and take the evening meal with him and he with me."

So I continued down the street and found someone at home and had a nice discussion from the Bible Teach book. I was returning to my car and saw a woman standing on the street waiting for me. It was the householder who wouldn't come to the door. She called out to me and said, "I read that scripture. I want you to read something now." She told me to read Genesis 3:10. So I opened my Bible up when I got back to the car. That scripture said, "Finally he said: “Your voice I heard in the garden, but I was afraid because I was naked and so I hid myself."
