Windows 8 Tablet

Recommended Posts

I'll be candid - none of their tablets really are worth getting aside from the Surface Pro.

The problem with the other windows tablets are they run on ARM processors like a cell phone so it can only run apps from the windows store, essentially like an iPad you are locked in to propritary apps...

The Pro however, is a few hundred more in cost but it can run anything. It's intel based which means you can run the WT library on it as you can any other native windows app.

Just my opinion but it's very nice and does actually compete with the iPad head to head - Personally when I study my watchtowers and lessons I like to create answer bubbles (which you can't do on the iPad) along with underlining. Hence when I mouse over the highlighted area a bubble pops up with my comment and scriptures all ready to answer ;)

I already downloaded my watchtower library- English and Tagalog in my tablet, I got the Asus Vivo Smart Tab with Windows 8.

I only have a problem that   windows dont have any application to use to underline and highlight a pdf and epub.

Jordan,           what programs or application are you using?
