Talented Brothers And Sisters Create Unique Gifts

Recommended Posts

Once in a while I have come accross and item that someone has, and they say oh, Sister "Lovely" has made that for me.

Or Brother "Can do anything" has made or created this.

One was a home made card.  The card had so much interesting things on all for sides to read and look at it

was far better then the ones at the store.

Another time, I noticed a field service book that was unique.  Again a sister was creating these.

And here, at JWtalk,  we have sisters that make baby goods and knitting.

and the other one I can think of is book markers, some of those are really neat too.

I knit, crochet, make jewelry, and sew. My sister and I had a little business of making preemie baby clothes. Sadly all my pictures were destroyed. :(

My sister now designs embroidery for the sewing machines that embroider. They are beautiful.

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

We have a sister in our congregation who has made both of our children crocheted blankets. She made our daughter a doll and she sleeps with it every night. Recently we had a congregation picnic and all the kids dressed up as their favourite Bible character. This same sister made all the outfits. She truly is a treasure. I have often said that after Armageddon it will only take her a couple of minutes to reach perfection, she is almost there.

I love handmade stuff.  Giving and getting too.  My favorite things are sewing and I really like making knotted bracelets with hemp.  I get a lot of requests for the bracelets from kids at the hall.  I have a couple of shops on Etsy if ya wanna see pictures.  I don't have pictures on this computer and dont have the concentration to try and figure out how to upload anyway.  Here are the links to the stuff I like to do. I like to do rag quilts for baby showers if I can.  I am still trying to get recovered from my surgery but will be helping my daughter sew some sleepmasks for my granddaughters sleepover in a couple of weeks.  We'll see how that goes.  I may just have to supervise.
