A Monkey's Take on Evolution :-)

Three monkeys sat in a coconut tree,

discussing matters as they are said to be.

Said one to the others, "Listen you two,

there's a certain rumor that can't be true.

That man descended from our noble race.

The very idea is a real disgrace.

Never has a monkey beat his wife,

abused his children and ruined their life.

And whoever heard of a mother monk,

leaving her little ones with others to bunk?

Passing them around from one to the other,

until they hardly know who is their mother?

And here's something you'll never see:

a monkey building a fence around a coconut tree.

Letting the coconuts go to waste,

while forbidding the other monkeys to taste.

And here's something else a monkey won't do:

go out at night, get in a stew,

use a gun-club-or knife,

and take another monkey's life.

Yes, man descended, with all his greed and lust,

But brother, he didn't descend from us."

I still think this is pretty cool. Then I got done watching a Nat Geographic show on chimps. They were murdering each other for stealing food!!! LOL!!! I thought it was funny to see that. Then again, so do the rest of the animals in the animal kingdom.
