  1. Does this mean that the trial for Dennis Christensen is scheduled for July 23, 2017? https://www.jw.org/en/news/legal/by-region/russia/court-rejects-appeal-20170628/ ... . The FSB requested a court order to keep Mr. Christensen in pretrial detention until July 23, 2017—although he is a peaceful individual without a criminal record—in order to allow time to build a case against him on extremism charges. ...
  2. Hi carlos. What are the private areas? As Gi-Gi asked, is there a new letter writing campaign or something?
  3. Hi Rosanne / Friends just call me Ross. Her link also led me to this link: http://www.worldreligionnews.com/religion-news/christianity/exclusive-interview-jehovahs-witnesses-banned-russia-court-ruling-upheld-today
  4. Hi Brother Marius. When you said: 'Jehovah didn't make miracle... Why? He glorified his name already....', are you asking others a question or are you answering your own question (IE saying that Jehovah didn't make miracle because he glorified his name already)? Sorry, I am not quite sure exactly what you are saying. I know that you are distressed and I am sure that everyone here wants to help you. EDIT: I just went to your profile and saw a comment where you stated that you live in Russia. I am so sorry you are going through these trials right now. Be sure and stay as close to the brothers there that you are allowed to. I anticipate comments more encouraging than mine to come. (There are likely over 8,000,000 brothers and sisters praying for y'all) I will include you personally in mine.
  5. (Ezekiel 38:23) And I will certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known before the eyes of many nations; and they will have to know that I am Jehovah.’
  6. Apparently, the government just gave the Orthodox Church all of those buildings not too long ago. http://www.thedailybeast.com/russians-protest-against-the-greed-of-putins-favorite-church The question of church properties seized by the atheist Soviet communist state almost a century ago has been creating resentments among liberal Russians for several years, ever since the Kremlin approved a law allowing the return of thousands of properties to religious organizations. Many of these buildings had been museums and concert halls for as long as anyone alive could remember. But in 2010, the Russian Orthodox Church started taking control of them, and in the process, has taken much of the life out of them.
  7. Maybe? Where'd ya go ta shoo?
  8. Someone above somewhere said something to the affect that the Orthodox Church condemns JW's and others and doesn't every religion think they are the one true faith and that in regards to that and something else (Can't find it now) that the Orthodox Church should have been banned a long time ago. They apparently label at least some other religions as cults and they believe that Orthodox means true worship, obviously separating that from false worship. http://www.pravmir.com/why-the-cults/ 4. True worship. Many Christians don’t understand what worship is, and confuse it with instruction or entertainment. But in the Bible worship is accounted as essential. People yearn to ‘worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness’ (Psalm 96); they fall down and worship Him because if they did not, ‘the stones themselves would sing.’ The word “Orthodox” means “true worship”; worship is the glue that binds the Church together and authenticates its life. If worship is not adequate to God, there is a void in people’s hearts that will be filled. They will worship something or someone; what will it be?
  9. Beggar for the Spirit, that's what I kinda get out of it too. Maybe things in the last part of the last days is gonna get harder. We have been studying similar things in our 'God's Kingdom Rules' book in a very timely manner, it seems.
