I restored the back up, my personal study notes are there, but no publications, and no highlights or notes in the Bible or other publications. Thoughh the school for elders boo still has my highlights and comments.

Good evening family. I just purchased a new iPad Pro. I transferred everything from my old one via iCloud. In JW Library, all my personal study notes are there, but all my highlights and notes in the Bible are gone. is there any way to transfer those? Also notes in the SFL, my talk outlines, etc, gone.

Guys, after so many issues over the last year or so, I am finally getting to where I have a good amount of money left over each month. Where should I start?

We seem to have a solution of sorts. If the zoom host changes audio output to stereo instead of mono, it works. So when I get to the hall tomorrow, I’m going to change the audio output on the hall computer to stereo instead of mono and see if that works.

The strangest thing is happening on my dad's new Dell laptop running Windows 11. When he's in the Zoom meeting, all the videos play fine, everything works well. But when a song is played, like to sing the opening or closing song, the audio starts getting very choppy and comes in and out. It is only on the songs, I even tried it when I hosted my own meeting from my home. I tried changing a few settings and Zoom and installing a new codec in case that was the issue, but it's still happening for some reason. Does anyone know why? More importantly, how do I fix it? I thought maybe it was because the branch was using a different codec for audio in the regular videos but that doesn't appear to be the case. Please help. This is a 911 situation, call the angels and everybody. lol

I pray all day mostly, driving (with eyes open), eating, working, etc. I never have a specific position unless I'm at the speaker stand, then I'm standing. Is it more acceptable or easier for Jah to hear if I stand, sit, or whatever? Nope.

For me, the answer is yes. Not only has it encouraged and helped me in my studies, but I've also made good friends worldwide, and feel like I finally have brothers and sisters.

Thanks, Sebastian. My concern is all my notes and publications. Backup skips those important items. When I did this on my iPhone, I lost everything but tags and notes attached to them, still haven't found Vine's expository dictionary and other tools I used for research.

I'm trying to avoid the downloading and such. I also lost all the highlighting and notes in my bible. The second app is paid, and I'd rather not pay for it again.

When I try to log into that old account, the password is wrong. If I try to recover the password, the email and phone number associated with it have been changed.

@ChrisC everything else updates fine except 1 other app that’s tied to that account. I’m the only person who’s owned my phone. But I believe my info was leaked and someone hijacked my old account.

Why would there be a previous owner for an app download? I think maybe the time I merged libraries to get something someone shared here, maybe. That's a long shot. I backed up, but when I restored, my SFL, addendum, guidelines, and Vin'es expository and Strong's concordance were gone.

I just updated to ios 18 on my phone and when attempting to update jw library, it says it needs the password for Philip Coperland's apple ID. I don't know who that is but it's a Gmail account. Please help.

Good morning brothers and sisters. A brother scolded me a few days ago for saying Jehovah's earthly organization is not perfect. Now the research shows that while Jehovah, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, God's word and wisdom are all perfect, the earthly part of his organization is not since it is made up of imperfect people. I am looking for a video. I feel like maybe this year or late last year there was a video where I believe maybe brother Splane mentioned that Jehovah's earthly organization Is not perfect, but we do our best with Jehovah's direction. I may not be remembering that exactly right. Does anyone know where I heard that?

I'm using a Mac Studio on the latest version of Mac OS. I use the JW library to listen to original songs while working. I have the magic keyboard with a full number pad, it has buttons near the top for controlling music playback. After the last JW Library update, these keys no longer work for JW Library, I cannot pause, go forward, or backward. Does anyone know how to correct that or what's causing it?

@Tortuga I think Cushi is speaking in general, not anyone here. But he has a point. Even with brothers and sisters, I've had situations even recently that made me question whether or not they were who they claim to be. If I could find a brother who does Vanguard and 401k's and such to help me, I'd feel more at ease, but I wouldn't blindly follow their recommendations.
