Historic day for Greek brothers today!
After a long time of waiting,we finally received today the Revised New World Translation into our own language,greek!
Brother Steven Lett from the governing body gave the talk in a big special convention
So happy I were there to see all this,I feel so grateful to our Heavenly Father for giving us such precious gifts through His faithful slave!

I love listening to the older songs and hymns of our songbooks as well. They are absolutely beautiful. Did you know that the first link you have is the song used in the Photodrama of Creation? -

Actually you are talking about song 58 "Zion's Glorious Hope" (in the songbook called "Hymns of the Millennial Dawn)and it was the music of Josef Haydn . Bible Students had it in their songbook since 1905 and later it was adopted from the Nazi as the german national song Brothers loved singing it (with different lyrics of course, because Nazi Germans would never use a hymn that praised Zion!) in conventions. This hymn was used by other denominations too. Jehovah's Witnesses used it till 1944 You can listen to the hymn here -

Someone must be 100% that he has the heavenly hope so he can partake. But even if someome has been called with the heavenly calling he must struggle to enter the narrow way (and the heavenly hope is much narrower!!!) Nobody is sure about the final judgement whether of the anointed or the other sheep. We must all work our salvation in the fear of God and until the end(Math 24:13) -

Actually they are so wonderful! Yesterday night I found the first Watchtower saying that God's name is Jehovah and why we should pronounce it Brother Russell gave glory to God frim the very first issue of his magazine!

Yes brother. It was published in 1919 (in green colour original- now this is a different book bounding) After brother Russell's death, the Watchtower reprinted all of the old articles in these volumes:)

I was so happy to receive this last set of Watchtower Reprints sent to me as a gift by a friend in Australia Wow, such a rich treasure Have you ever seen the old Watchtowers? They were like a newspaper! I really love the letters that were published in the last section- many many experiences about how people got the Truth during the last part of the 19th century!

Hello dear brothers and sisters! After building a good collection of old kingdom songbooks i tried to make some recordings just to show the flavour of some old melodies that were used to be sung among brothers in the past years. Some of these kingdom songs were so beautiful.
