I thought the principles on this video...could apply to anyone with a Facebook account..

I just got around to watching this video.

Wow! It's true though. I am always able to click on friends of friends and surf from person to person reading everything about them, even when I don't have a friendship connection with them. It's mind boggling that they leave this all out in the open.

My settings are private, although I admittedly almost never turn down a friend request. I utilize the friends "lists" features to assign people to certain lists and then give permissions to various lists at various levels of privacy. I've been thinking about this more and more lately, though, and I think I need to tighten up the reigns a bit.

Facebook has automatically changed my settings before. I use Firefox as my browswer, and from time to time will look at at profile in Google Chrome with a dummy account I created and am not friends with, just to make sure that my settings are where they need to be.
