NEW DELHI (AP) — A series of recent high-profile gang rape cases in India has ignited a debate: Are such crimes on the rise, or is it simply that more attention is being paid to a problem long hidden within families and villages? The answer, experts say, is both.

Modernization is fueling a crisis of sexual assault in India, with increasingly independent women now working in factories and offices and stepping beyond the subservient roles to which they had traditionally been relegated. They are also more likely than their mothers and grandmothers were to report rapes, and more likely to encounter male strangers in public.

So sad for what  women mostly have to cope with in india..Are experts  answers(both) reasonable with what the bible say on the last days??

Scientists did a study with rats. They had a huge habitat made especially for two rats, male and female. Each day they were fed the exact same amount of food and water, plenty for two rats. They studied the rats as the population grew. They recorded what happened as the space became overcrowded. The rats did the same kinds of behavior as humans when trapped in slums.

The mother's refuse to care for their babies. The rats fought intensely when the food became scarce. The rats performed homosexual acts, also performing gang rapes. They often ganged up and killed weaker ones. It was an amazing study that showed how we as humans should live in wide open spaces rather than one on top of another.

So sad to know this is now happening in India. I believe that their religion has held many back from such crimes for centuries. It seems that even though the people still have religious beliefs, perhaps that has eroded just like most countries today. Nothing holds them back today.
