Any karaoke fans out there?

Recommended Posts

We have an iTunes jukebox that does karaoke. It even allows you to change the k of the music. I guess that is nice for people who know how to sing. To me it means nothing. I can destroy a song no matter what the key. And I don't mean in a good way either. We have decided to go this route instead of paying to have a karaoke event. Number one is it is costly between 150.00 and 250.00 depending on the night and he dj's popularity. Besides our business being very rural, out in the sticks, makes for never knowing if you will be busy enough to cover the expense of the event. This way we can start off with 25.00 in the juke box which half comes back to us. If their is a bigger crowd we can add more and if not we don't get hurt too bad. It costs 120.00 per month to have that feature on the jukebox whether we use it or not. The only problem is I am not a dj and their is a definite art to get people up and singing. Rick says he art is called more alcohol but I can not do that. He can-I can't.

What makes you want to get up in front of strangers and belt out a tune?

Only visiting a Kingdom Hall I haven't been to before!

I love the scripture that says "make a joyful noise" - fits me to a tee.
