Primum Non Nocere - First Do Not Harm - Help needed

Hi Brothers and Sisters!

I am currently translating this movie to Polish. Unfortunately I came across a problem. I can not fully understand the person that appears in 0h:30m:3s. Can anyone who has this movie script it for me please? It is very important for me to make the translation as thorough as possible.

Thank you.

I assume you are talking about Dr. Bruce Spiess who was speaking at that time frame.? ( I have the full download version as m4v ) Dr. Bruce Spiess, Virginia Comonwealth Hospital "I would say, that in medicine today, the untilization of blood transfusions has grown into a religion. Today, there are many of us, who are questioning this vision of 'Giving a unit of blood and save a life'"

No, it is Herri Ozawa. I have an HD version downloaded. Probably the same as you. I put the context with places I don't understand and the time. I will also be grateful if you can help me with any further problems.

Herri Ozawa, RN, her utterance starts at 30 mins 3 sec

I work in th United States of course

See blood married to patriotism, love of the country love of the family, love of the community and ____A WORD I DON'T UNDERSTAND___ both....

And another one:

Kathleen Sazama MD. Her utterance starts at 40 mins 10 sec

The international distribution of materials, for example the US was at that time very large exporter of plasma components for use in ___UNSURE ABOUT THE WORDS HERE___ and as a practical matter

I am very grateful for your help. It is a very serious matter and I must be a hundred percent sure about the translation. Since I live in the UK and English is not my first language I have some problems with understand american medical terms.

Sheri Ozawa, RN, Nurse Coordinator, Englewood Hospital, NJ  "love of community and while clinicians, both nurses and physicians...."

time frame 40:28  Kathleen Sazama, MD  "With the sudden and unexpectected appearance in the early 1980's of a brand new transfusion transmitted infection,  ( it ) just really set the profession back on its heels. "

Yes, it is so simple. But the second one is not the actual one I am asking for. I put some context above.

Kathleen Sazama MD. Her utterance starts at 40 mins 10 sec

Thanks.

Dr. Sazama  "...in hemophiliacs, globally and as a practical matter as just  ( ah ) financial circumstances of the world as this knowledge was evolving. Plasma, that had the HIV virus in it, was distributed globally."

I do like this medical documentary that was produced, by - I believe a brother, in Hong Kong. Have watched it several times along with the 3 videos from the society, for which there are transcripts available - at least in English.

N.B. Nurse's name Sherri Ozawa has 2 'R's in it. Even 2 finger typing is too fast for many forum postings ^_^

I have just done 50 minutes of this documentary. If you have the transcript, please let me know. I take a huge amount of time to adjust the length of subtitles. That would speed-up my job a bit. I'am doing this translation for brothers in my congregation but I will donate the translation to the company produced the video if they are going to accept it. Otherwise I will just post it as a separate file so anyone in Poland can benefit from it.

I already have done so. Even emailed the producer asking for one and offering my translation in return. It is a very good translation recently reviewed by a nurse who assists at the operations. So far I had no reply from the producer. There is no scripts on the internet either. I take there is not many people interested in popularization of this kind of knowledge.

'Unprecedented'   This is the story of brother Henry Jackson who had been misdiagnosed at another New Jersey hospital, that hospital staff, rather than admit they were wrong, even went so far as denying their ambulance to  transport him  to Englewood and they disconnected his life support.

Just in case you didn't hear the interviewer at 1:00:38   "I understand that you got a phone call from the hospital that transferred him? "
