Las Vegas public health officials said dozens of people linked to a tuberculosis outbreak at a neonatal unit have tested positive for the disease.

Dr Gorn at UCLA told my husband many times that I was just 'too sick to be hospitalized' and needed to stay home--no visitors and as few family members around as possible. When ones immune system is compromised via illness, chemo, or medications that reduce cell count they can easily acquire any illness they are exposed too. Too sick to be hospitalized. I know it sounds ironic but true. When I would have to be treated they would put me in reverse isolation. Everyone that came into contact with me wore gowns , gloves, masks, and nonrebreathing masks for my protection--not theirs.

I think that doctors need to do house calls again, so that sicknesses won't spread. At least now they have a car instead of horse and buggy, I thinks that the last time house calls were made. lol
