I like being able to see something visual next to the persons name in forums such as this one.

I know I don't have the most user friendly avatar system, because we upload our own and it has size restrictions. But if anybody needs help with an avatar, let me know!

I like everyone's photos. Great to see what you look like when we are talking to eachother. Bob is a wiz at fixing the pics. I tried and tried to get mine to work and he magically did it. A nice one too.....You can't even see my grey! Thanks, Bob!

I had a heck of a time getting my avatar to show my photo, but once I realized that I could check the dimensions in one of my photo editing programs I was good to go! Now I've just got to re-do my one in facebook, so I can use it here, since it's the most recent

I like to know who I'm talking to, it takes the 'I'm just having a couple of conversations with someone who really may not exist mentality' out of it, and helps us to keep in mind that there are real people behind these messages.

I look forward to getting to know all of you a little more. So Paul.......Nice Avatar!!

I dont feel comfortable using a picture of myself on the internet. I trust that no one would copy and past to some website, but its still the internet. For me its just unsettling. Thats why I have a pic of guitars. lol. Its just somthing thats a personal choice though.
