Another 14 hour trip!

Well, I told my daughter, who recently made a 'fast' trip to the city with me to get a piece of equipment, I was going to the city again and do a 'fast' trip to get beef. I HAVE GOT TO STOP PRETENDING IT'LL BE A FAST TRIP! The first trip began with a frozen brake and ended up in a $700.00 plus bill and 14 hours!!! Today, yes today, I got up at 2 am, cause I'm not a sleeper without my herbs, and left for work at 4:45. We started to the city at 7:30am. It is now 8:20pm and I have only been home for 45 minutes. Yes I made another 'fast' trip and it ended up being 14 hours again. We ended up in the middle of a freak snow storm, there was a 25 car pileup in front of us. after several hours we made it to Woodland where there was another 25 car/semi pileup. All the way there was cars/trucks/semi's on the side of the road. I'm pooped, stressed and needing some orange juice with a kick :drink: and a massage. Sadly I only get OJ w/a kick!

 

So now both my 'turnip' and her 'turnip' said we are not allowed to make 'fast' trips to the city any more.
