I See With My Heart

 

Are you feeling lonely and dismayed

As your appearance begins to fade

Are your vision and hearing dimiinshing

While evidence grows of the desserts you are finshing

Hair turning gray, or starting to thin and fray

Joints are stiff and hard to move

But still your heart beats faster when you hear your favorite groove

Know that you are not alone

For I too have much over which to groan

When I look at you, I see with my heart

All the love and wisdom your years have yet to impart

Though our bodies deteriorate

Shared love for Jehovah will us invigorate

So regret not what has passed

I see with my heart a love that forever will last
