Reclaim

 

If I look back with regret

On the day that we met

Then I give you the power

To make my heart cower

Instead I choose

My love to lose

For it was love I gave you

No matter what you do

Or how you treat me with disdain

It is my heart and life I now reclaim

 

The years are not wasted

Though it was only bitterness I tasted

For I learned to look to my God 

And it is Jehovah soon all will laud

So have your fun at my expense

It is not my place justice to dispense

My prayer is that you one day in shame

Will look to my God, you to forgive and reclaim
