When Seeking A Mate

When looking for a mate

Do you first seek their credit to rate?

Do you focus on the strain Satan's world has left on their waist or face?

Or can you see the love for Jehovah their heart displays?

Is their job your chief concern?

Or can you their spiritual richness discern?

Can you see with your heart,

Though their physical beauty did depart?

For in the New World, such ones will be

A joyful delight their transformation to see

Watching them change before your eyes

As they shed sin's cruel disguise

Loyalty and love for Jehovah will have carried them through,

Will the same be able to said of you?

Today we are merely a shell

Waiting on Jehovah to make us well

So look beyond the gray

Visualize what will be one day

Choosing a mate based on their spiritual value

Displays Jehovah's promise is real to you

Seek out a mate that is tested and true

One that will travel through Armageddon with you
