I am in my mid 30’s but the one that always brings back memories for me is Magnum PI  !!

LOVE that show!  Some episodes were slow but for the most part it was awesome!  And the way it ended was so cool: Higgins secretly was Robin Masters all along.

I don’t want to sound old but I have to say I miss the early to mid 1980’s.  L

Few shows were as funny and worth watching as the Carol Burnette Show. Three shows we never missed every week were the Carol Burnette Show, Star Trek and the Sunday Disney Movie.

I think my favourite skit on The Carol Burnett show was when they did a take off on Gone with the Wind!  ;)

I remember we all laughed till we cried when we first  saw that skit! Today's generation wouldn't get how funny the skits were when she made fun of the old classic movies, you can't get youngsters to watch that stuff now, they wouldn't even know the old movies she was making fun of! (I used  to dress up like her "Gloria Swanson" in Sunset Blvd - right down to the oranges in my dress and false eye lashes on my cheeks - my mom loved it)

ROTFL!  You are too funny, Brigette!

I know what you mean about young people not even knowing the movies.  Ask anyone if they remember Errol Flynn in 'Captain Blood,' and watch eyes glaze over.  So sad.  :(

Command Yourself!  That's one of my favorite lines from Captain Blood, I say it to the kids at our kingdom hall all the time when I have to stop them from running.  Captain Blood is one of my all time favorites along with the Adventures of Robin Hood.  I just saw Mildred Pierce for the first time last week and can't believe I didn't watch it till now!  I still haven't seen Casablanca (probably because it seems like a romance and I'm not into romance - still haven't seen "Titanic" (I already knew how it ended (haha).  I just loved Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone in anything they did together or apart and still do.

Me, too!  I also liked Basil Rathbone in the Sherlock Holmes movies when I was a kid.  I think he made a good Holmes, but I didn't like that the stories were set in the 40's and so different from the original stories.

I saw Mildred Pierce, but that was ages ago.  I think I've pretty much seen every movie ever made before 1960, with the exception of most silent films, lol.

And can I just say, some men look good with long hair and no beards?<g>  :beard:
