Terror attack in New York City

4 New York City Police officers were attacked by a man with a hatchet they are saying he has possible ties to terrorist groups. They think there could be a correlation between this attack and the attack in Canada. They have heightened the terror threat levels.

Interesting as this was NOT the lead story for the 11 o'clock news tonight...it was the sole Ebola patient being escorted to a NYC hospital.

Hm. I sure don't see this as a terrorist attack.

And generally, if a muslim extremist decides to take a box-cutter and slash somebody on the subway, isn't that simply running amok and ordinary, non-premeditated murder?

 

In my opinion, terror starts where an organisation of individuals plots a coordinated attack.

 

To be honest, I find this constant raising of terror alerts and stuff like NDAA and Patriot Act more concerning than the idea that a single, muslim extremist with a hatchet might attack me one day.
