Help with the Digital Media Sound Player

Recommended Posts

On your desktop, make a folder called "A".

In the A folder, download all the piano music files, then use something like "Bulk Rename Utility" to change all the piano file names to "iasnm". (Use Add>Insert>At pos 5)

Once the files are renamed, copy the orchestral renditions to the same folder, selecting "yes" when prompted to overwrite.

If you want only specific songs to play as background music using the 999 function, make a "B" folder and copy in the files you want.

The next step is where most people get hung up. You need to FORMAT the SD card, then copy the entire A and B folders to the root of the SD card. Do not copy any music files individually, and do not copy any files before formatting.

Thanks. I found these instructions on their website so I followed them.

Basically I downloaded the songs onto  folder "A" in the order that I want them. You must download them directly onto the "A" folder in the order you want to play them. Then you move "A " folder directly onto an empty 2gb SD card.

Is anyone else having problems loading sjj to their media player?

It is as if it will not recognize the card. I found the website sited above and followed the instructions to a T, I also read that if it is 5.1 or lower you must create a B file with enough files to have 225 total, which I've done. please help I'm lost:shrugs:

I had trouble at first but now It's OK. I did have one SD card that the player wouldn't recognize so I had to get another. You don't need to make two folders. Just make 1 folder and label it anything you want. Then download the songs DIRECTLY TO THE EMPTY FOLDER in order 1-151. I do it one song at a time. There is some way to do it all 151 songs at a time, but I could never get it to work.

After all 151 songs are are downloaded to the folder, put a blank 2GB SD card into the card reader in your computer. Bring that SD card up and drag and drop the folder into the SD card. That should do it for you. I HOPE?
