I am wondering if someone can help me out. I am applying for a LOT of jobs. Some of them you have to download PDF applications. How do you fill them out? It is not allowing me to type anything anywhere. I have been told that I have to do it a certain way and I can do it.

Most of the PDF applications that are made available need to be downloaded and filled out by hand and then either brought in in person or scanned and emailed back.

Some will allow you to fill them out right on the website, these are "open" files.

If you have Adobe's PDF "writer" program on your computer (not free) you can fill in the ones that are not "locked" by their creators.

There may be some free PDF writer programs out there that you can look for. But if the site doesn't allow you to fill them out online, you'll need to download them anyway.

I hope this helps!
