JW Library App - Backup for Personal Study

I have question about this. An I we backing up in the App itself or an I backing up in my actual iPad iCloud?

 

I don't have that much storage left in iCloud, I have used 4.4 GB of 5 GB. I don't know how to get things stored in iCloud out for good or how not to let things go into the iCloud in the first place. Ant help would be appreciated from the tekkies out there.

When you select it you have a choice. You can even email the backup to yourself. So plenty options. On device, emailed or even cloud....

My backup file is about 250 kb. Do not a big file. It just does your notes, not your books or video downloads...

Sorry being slow, I don't understand - does back to icloud or into the app itself?

When you press the 'Create Backup' button, you are given a multi choice option. (See pic)

Pick anyone...

So, if you do not want to save it in the cloud, pick your email app and email it to yourself. When the email comes in, save the attachment onto your device.
This will park a backup copy on your device.

You can't back up to the app itself. This screenshot is Windows, not iOS. Your backup file should not weigh more than 1MB, you should still be able to save the backup file to the cloud.
