A very much loved rescue cat. A crossed Maine Coone who loves doing nothing and is very attached to his mum.

Oh what a lovely view. A balcony that overlooks a wooded area.

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

Bombay cat walking

The Bombay has the distinction of being the blackest cat in the cat fancy. Once the cat is mature, the coat is black to the root, short, tight and extremely shiny. Even the paw pads are black. It is hard to say what is more eye-catching about the Bombay: its golden eyes or its shiny black coat. The combination is striking.

I own one.   His name is Rebel!  Actually, my daughter named him.  She flew in from California and flew back without him leaving him to me.

He's been with me now 4 years.  They are extremely intelligient.  They were bred to interact with humans.  So much so, that they have a say in your life. Literally!

We have trained him to be more independent.  He is obedient, listens to commands and is very demanding.  But, he's met his match.  Me!

My husband adores him.   He has copper eyes and the blackest fur I have ever seen.  I comb him pretty much every day, he loves it.  He's a good boy.

I am slightly allergic to cats.  That must be why we have 5.  I have always had a black cat, but we moved to a popular dumping spot, and now I have gingers that missed out on the cat sanctuary.  3 gingers and 2 torties.  And the polydactyl house panther that I have yet to meet.  My only male is Lifeguard, a big ginger boy with a white stripe down his nose.  He is the loudest and most demanding.  His sister Pumpkin Spice Girl came to us with 4 kittens.  She is tiny and sweet.  We got the kittens homed, and just baby mama was left.  She stayed.  Then we have a dilute tortie who is technically named 50 shades of grey, but comes to Itty Bitty.  The last two are still kind of feral, one plain faced ginger named Nala, and her sister, a long haired tortie we named Tribble because she looks like a fur ball running away.  She is still very feral and afraid of everything.

We made what was to us a strange discovery, a few days ago. We discovered that cats like to sit inside any kind of circle, which a friend demonstrated. It was then tried by taking a rope and forming it into a circle and, sure enough, the cat walked into it and curled up.
